DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce a joint initiative between our foundation\, 2 local rotary clubs (Thorpe Bay and Leigh) and Pronto training to provide free CPR and defib training for residents local to Southend. \nEach session will last for about 2 hours 15 minutes (with an interval of a about 20 minutes for teas and coffees). The first section will provide vital training on how to perform CPR on an adult. The second section will show how to safely use a defibrillator plus how to perform CPR on a baby or child. \nEach session will accommodate 30 people and will be fully funded by our foundation and the rotary clubs. \nThe sessions will be run by Pronto training\, a local first aid company who specialise in a variety of training programmes for all areas of first aid. \n\nAll the training will be provided FREE\nAll the training MUST be booked in advance (no walk-ins would be allowed)

I just ask people to kindly let me know if they get booked in ok. \nThis screening day is a poignant combination between two bereaved families.  Alongside Carli’s family\, this screening day has been co-funded by the family of Gideon Baws\, who sadly passed away in October 2008 – aged just 33 – from Dilated Cardiomyopathy

We are so proud to be working with the amazing team at Wing Walking Company (www.thewingwalkcompany.com) \n\nAll the wing walks take place at Headcorn Aerodrome\, Ashford\, Kent\, TN27 9HX \n\nThe cost of this experience is £460 per person but the offer we make to all our wingwalkers is that if you can raise this amount (and hopefully more) your wingwalk will be FREE \n\nTo do the wingwalk challenge\, you must be aged between 18-80\, weigh no more than 14st and be less than 6ft2 inches tall \n\nIn 2027\, we are delighted to have secured the following dates/times:- \n16th May – 4 slots at 10am \n22nd August – 4 slots at 10am \n\nIf you are interested in taking on this challenge in 2027\, and raising awareness/donations for us\, please email: info@carlilansleyfoundation.org.uk
